White Cliffs, Wanstone D2 Heavy AA Battery
This area represents the operational core of the D2 HAA battery (excluding the late war 5.25” guns north of Upper Road). It includes the fixed positions for four 3.7” guns, associated magazines, the command post, gun store and other ancillary structures. The condition of these varies, with some relatively intact, others partially collapsed, buried and/or overgrown.
