Verulamium Mosaic
The excavated (1930s) remains of part of a Roman townhouse containing a high status mosaic, now located in a modern purpose built building at the centre of Verulamium Park, St Albans, England.
In one corner can be seen the exposed hypocaust which ran under the floor and heated the room.
Date: around 180AD.
