Union Chapel Interior
The interior of Union Chapel, Islington, London. Union Chapel is a Congregational Church formed from the union of Anglicans and nonconformists in 1799 which moved into a new building on Compton Terrace in 1806. In 1876-7 the church was rebuilt to a design by architect James Cubitt (1836-1912) inspired by the C11 church of Santa Fosca at Torcello near Venice.
The building is Grade 1 listed by Historic England.
