Tett Turret Hornchurch Country Park 2

A World War 2 tett turret toward the centre east side of Hornchurch Country Park, London. The park used to be the RAF Hornchurch airfield, hence the defences in this area.

These concrete defence structures were designed for one person to fire an anti-infantry weapon from. They are extremely rare, probably because the user would have been vunerable, e.g to grenades. The concrete cone could be manually rotated by the user.
