St Olave Silver Street Stone Font

A surviving stone block from the church of St Olave Silver Street that once stood near London Wall, London.

The church was probably destroyed in the fire of 1666. This stone granite block (that looks like a font) is all that remains and was possibly a reworked pillar base or top.

Shakespeare once lived near here.

Photos taken December 2018 with a Sony a6000 and processed in Agisoft Photoscan.
