Smallhythe Place Fireplace
The fireplace in the wrong place!
Late medieval / Tudor fireplace located in the Lyceum Room. The mouldings are mismatched, suggesting that the feature is a composite of two fireplaces, repurposed to fit the space. It is not possible to determine whether the elements making up the fireplace originally came from Smallhythe Place or were imported from elsewhere.
