Post-medieval weight
Weight discovered in Trench 11 at Elfwick Field, Smallhythe in August 2022. (KT-SMA21, Context 103). It is marked as an 8 ounce weight but actually comes in 1/4 once under that - perhaps someone was dealing in short measures?!
