New River Head Engine House and Boiler Room


The interior of the Engine House and Boiler Room at New River Head, Islington, London. New River Head was a site established in 1613 to supply clean water from springs in Hertfordshire to London and consisted of reservoirs and pumping engines.

New River Head is now undergoing a period of transformation and renovation to become the new Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration.
