Monument to Isaac Watts
Located in the middle of Abney Park (near the chapel), Stoke Newington, London.
"Heroic size figure in academic robes, carrying a book, stands on classical plinth above tall, battered base. Cast iron fence around. Eulogy by Dr Johnson inscribed on base; also legend telling that statue was erected by public subscription, 1845. The famous preacher's life dates 1674-1748 also inscribed.":
