Lion And Horse Statue
"Lyon Attacking a Horse", pentelic marble with restorations in Luna marble. Located in the Capitoline Museums, Rome.
"First documented on the Piazza del Campidoglio in 1300, the sculpture is dated to the early Hellenistic period (late 4th Century BC) and can be attributed to a workshop operating either in Greece or in Asia Minor. The group is perhaps to be described as a commemorative monument linked to the Persian victories of Alexander the Great."
120 photos taken in February 2026 with a Sony a7R V and processed in Reality Capture.
