Halifax Memorial Stone


A memorial to the seven crew members of an RCAF Halifax bomber that crashed on 16th September 1943 at this location. Located between the Wraysbury River and the Colne River, Harmondsworth Moor, London.

"Dedicated on 7 July 1999 by British Airways, in association with the community of Harmondsworth."

The memorial is made from a stone that came from Old Waterloo Bridge.
