Full Mudlark Alan Murphy
Scan of Alan Murphy, full Thames mudlark, sitting on a mooring stone on the Thames foreshore at Rotherhithe, London.
Mudlarking is the act of searching the foreshore for historical finds and the collection, reporting and care of them. There are only 50 full mudlarks in London.
Alan is holding his mudlarking trowel that he uses for 'scraping' while looking for finds. Next to him is his yellow collecting bucket. He has been mudlarking for many years and has an excellent display of some of his collection in the Sands Films Studio, Rotherhithe.
232 photos taken in February 2020 with a Sony a6000 and processed in Reality Capture (body/landscape) and Metashape (head).
