Emley Farmstead, National Trust, Surrey Hills

Emley Farm stands on rising ground near the small village of Bowlhead Green, in the Parish of Thursley. The historical value and significance of the farmstead lies not in the merit of the individual buildings, though they retain a charm and beauty of their own, but in the fact that the group has remained completely unaltered despite the replacement of traditional farming techniques. It is a near perfect example of a traditional mixed farm sitting in unspoiled Surrey landscape.

This lower resolution model provides an overview and understanding of the layout.

As we add more detailed models of buildings they will be linked in the captions. A right of way passes through the farm and the farmhouse can be booked as a National Trust holiday let.
