Eltham Palace Conduit Head

Located next to the Capital Ring path just off Southend Crescent, Eltham, London.

From the notice board: "Conduit Head is part of an eloborate water supply system, probably built before 1509 by Henry VII to take water nearly a mile to Eltham Palace. The ruined structure is all that survives of the Tudor conduit house and has been repaired many times."
