Coalhouse Point Tramway

The current end of the old tramway at Coalhouse Point, East Tilbury, Essex. The tramway was built to carry munitions from the former jetty near here to Coalhouse Fort. Now all that remains are a few mostly buried wooden sleepers. At the location of this scan the foreshore is eroding (by the Thames tide) and the tramway slowly reducing in length.
