Ankerwycke Ruin Archaeology Trench 2023
During Festival of Archaeology 2023 the Runnymede Explored Project aquired scheduled monument consent to excavate around the lower ruins at Ankerwycke as part of wider conservation and consolidation works on the remains.
Runnymede Explored is a National Lottery Hertiage Funded Project seeking to connect, research and celebrate Runnymede and Ankerwycke.
