This model of Ankerwycke Ruins was captured before conservation work was undertaken by Cliveden Conservation and the National Trust in 2023. You can see the results in this model: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ankerwycke-ruins-508b3bfca0b344dab09ccf5a29c9787d
The surviving visble remains consist of an L-shaped section of substantial chalk rubble wall and a smaller fragment with later brick additions. The main wall comprised part of south wall of a medieval building with an offset and a diagonal corner buttress. The building was of two stories with an offset for
first floor timbers. The walls were incorporated in the post-dissolution house built in 1550 comprising part of the west end of the south wall and west wing.
The house was demolished in around 1805 and the present ruins left as a picturesque ruin.
